Description

This day will be dedicated to the discovery of “Stop Motion”. But what is stop motion? In other words, it’s the same technique as cartoon animation, but with objects.

10am – “Wallace and Gromit: The Mystery of the Were-Rabbit” – (2005) by Nick Park and Steve Box.
A few days before the Great Vegetable Show, a giant were-rabbit attacks the vegetable gardens. To cope with this unprecedented peril, the organizer turns to Wallace and Gromit.

Family screenings, ages 5 and up

2:30 p.m. – “Demons and Wonders
Discover Stop Motion with Jean-Manuel Costa.

Discover animated film, special effects and live action, with a screening of Jean-Manuel Costa?s short films, followed by a discussion with the director. Jean Manuel Costa teaches animation, live action, lighting, editing and special effects. He has been a member of the Académie des César since 1983.

Special teen screening, ages 12 and up.
