Cinéma : MuMaBox – “Le film comme jardin”
LE HAVRE
Description
The garden, a real space for plant life, more or less organized, for the pleasure of our senses. A piece of nature where we observe the variations of light and the seasons? A creative space dear to artists, a never-ending source of inspiration, where we can perceive the beauty, power and fragility of living things.
Film as garden is the experience of light shimmering through flowers and leaves, making the silver grains of film glisten. It’s the combination of images, like essences. It is the precious testimony of the life that beats close to us.
“I wanted to see if I could make a film that was in itself a garden: a film that, like the world of plants, would unfold and expand as the light approached.” Nathaniel Dorsky
