Festival: Polar at the Beach 2025
LE HAVRE
Description
The “Polar at the Beach” festival was founded in 2002 and is now preparing for its 22nd edition. The 2024 event lived up to its promises, attracting a large audience of passionate readers, whether they were specialists or simply fans of noir and crime literature. At a time when crime writers are gaining increasing recognition and winning prestigious awards, and when crime series are flourishing across various media, noir literature has never been more popular. Riding on this wave of recognition for a distinct form of expression, the association Les Ancres Noires is proud to continue its beach festival project in 2025. This year, we are thrilled to welcome, among others, Roxanne Bouchard, a Québécois author, as well as Judith Wiart, a native of Le Havre.
