Aude Romary has always been interested in the search for new sounds, experimentation and improvisation. Over the years, she has forged a special relationship with her cello, exploring all its sonic possibilities with a highly tactile playing style that allows each part of the instrument to sound in a multitude of ways.
Peuplier is her new solo. Imagined as an intimate, poetic cartography imbued with the encounters she has made during her years of exploration, it plays on the paths leading from silence to timbre.
