On Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th, the French Ministry of Culture will host the 22nd edition of Rendez-vous in the Gardens. This event aims to showcase the variety and richness of gardens and highlight the essential role they play in our well-being.

What’s on offer in our area:

The team at the Hanging Gardens will be joining this national initiative by offering guided tours of the gardens. Meet at the entrance of the greenhouses – Tour starts at 2:00 PM. Reservation is required by calling 02 32 74 04 33 (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM) or by emailing jardinssuspendus@lehavre.fr – bookings accepted until the day before the tour.

The newly reconstructed city center goes green with Pays d’Art et d’Histoire, which offers a guided exploration of public courtyards and green spaces, accompanied by a guide and a landscape architect. Tour departs at 3:00 PM on June 7th. Reservation required via the Le Havre Seine Patrimoine website.

Pays d’Art et d’Histoire invites you to discover a landscaped Clos-Masure in Vergetot. The dove cote, pond, and traditional buildings are enhanced by a garden full of flowers and trees, remnants of the nursery that once operated on the site. Tour departs at 3:00 PM on June 8th. Reservation required via the Le Havre Seine Patrimoine website.
