In winter, the marshes of the reserve take on a thousand colors. These reveal the variety of the landscapes, dominated by meadows and reedbeds, but above all the omnipresence of the liquid element which, for several weeks, takes possession of these marshy lands reclaimed from the Seine estuary. All the right conditions are in place to appreciate just how essential water is to the life of this region.
