Concert : Jazz en entrée – Mika Loukia Trio

Mikaël Loukia (drums), Joël Bouquet (piano), François Fuchs (double bass) and Pierre Touquet (guitar) present jazz in the tradition of the great trio pianists. Pierre Touquet?s guitar will swing in dialogue with Joël?s piano, as Joe Pass did with Oscar Peterson and Jim Hall with Bill Evans. Mikaël Loukia is a drum teacher from the other side of the water, as we say on this side of the estuary, which demonstrates his attachment to Normandy. He also contributed to the success of Honfleur?s jazz club “LE VINTAGE”, where he was programmer for two years, but above all he is a sensitive musician and fine accompanist, who rarely puts himself forward!
